Continuing from the lasso guard, Gustavo has his lasso hook deep and his other foot is in the biceps, stretching the arm. He removes his lasso hook from the armpit and brings it across to hook behind the knee, causing his opponent to lower his base. Now he moves the foot in the biceps to the mat, while switching his grip from the sleeve to the collar. He pulls with his grips and kicks with his hook to sweep his opponent.

Again starting with one foot on the hip and one foot in the biceps, Luiza brings her foot on the hip behind the other knee and kicks, forcing her opponent to step forward. Now she lets go of the pants grip to hug the leg, at the same time she brings her knee in to make the X-guard. Next she brings the foot in the biceps behind the knee, and when she is ready to sweep, she slides her hook down behind the heel and forces her opponent to fall backwards.

In order to get her grips back, first she grabs the collar with her free hand, and switches it to make a cross lapel grip with her other hand. Then she goes back to gripping the pants, and finally regains the sleeve grip, resetting back to her original grips.

She first places her bottom foot on the hip, and brings the foot that was on the hip down to hook behind the foot instead. Now she pushes with her foot on the hip, and pulls with her other foot and both her grips to finish the sweep.

After pulling guard, Luiza's favorite option is to go for a sweep similar to the tradition tripod sweep. With the pants and sleeve grip, Luiza escapes her hips and places her foot across her opponent's hips. Her foot on the same side she is gripping the pants drops down behind her opponent's other foot, and she simultaneously kicks her heel against her opponent's heel while pushing with her other foot and pulling with both grips, allowing her to come to the top for the sweep.

Concluding his series, AJ shows his favorite sweep using his leg lasso guard. From spider guard, he throws the leg lasso on one arm and keeps his other foot in the other biceps. He then moves the foot in the biceps to the hip and pushes his opponent away, before undoing his leg lasso and changing it to a regular foot in the biceps hook. His foot on the hip goes to the ground to help bring his opponent forward. Next he brings his leg to the back of his opponent's thigh, grabs his ankles and sweeps him backward.
