From inside his closed guard, Mario's opponent is controlling his collar and his hip, so he turns to the side of the hip control, and sits up. He posts his hand on the mat and reaches over her back and grabs the belt, trapping her arm in between their bodies. He lays back down on the mat, bringing her down with him, and places his foot on her hip on the same side as the belt grip. His other hand swims under her arm and controls her biceps. He brings his knee up so his shin is on the biceps, and he stretches his body to break her grip on him. Now he controls her wrist and pushes it so he can bring his leg over her head to lock the triangle. To finish, he prefers to keep his hand on his shin and swim his other arm under her leg to turn himself and tighten the triangle.
