After Xande had escaped the butterfly guard and was in a good position to pass, Adam turtled up to not give up the guard pass. Now Xande found himself attacking the back with one hook in and got his lapel choke grips. He decided to release the hook, allowing Adam to turn to turtle again. Instead of going for the clock choke, he felt it was better to jump over the back and roll Adam to finish the choke.
