Xande shows his favorite attack from the collar guard, which is the cross collar choke. While playing the collar guard, Xande's opponent goes to smash him, so he immediately closing his fingers tighter, causing the fabric on the other side to create a ridge he can grab hold of with his other hand. From here he pulls his opponent down and finishes the choke.

Rather than sitting up, Xande will turn his body, take his foot off the hip and place the De La Riva hook to pull his opponent in, while stretching his other leg away to keep the distance. Xande also shows a couple sweep options from here, including the tripod and overhead sweep.
