Again starting with the omoplata locked, Xande sits up into the S-position, but is having trouble finishing the omoplata on his flexible opponent. He reaches over the back, grabs the lapel and feeds it to his other hand under the neck. His hand over the back now grabs the other lapel so he can lean forward and finish the clock choke. Another option is to let his opponent free his arm, and then walk toward the head to finish the choke.

Starting with the omoplata already locked, Xande stresses the importance of escaping his hips away from his opponent, and keeping his triangle locked with his knees pinched. Using his hands posted on the mat, he can sit up and push his hips back, before reaching over his opponent's back to control his body. Now he slides his outside foot back to make an S-position with his legs. By lifting his hips and driving his head forward, Xande can put pressure on the shoulder and finish the omoplata.
