Yuri shows his favorite way to pass the guard when his opponent is playing the spider guard with one foot on his bicep and one foot on his hip. After moving to the side of the foot on the hip and pinning that leg to the ground, he removes the foot in his bicep and comes back to pass on the other side. His head pressure on his opponent's chest is key to controlling this position.
