Maximiliano shows a position he has developed to defend the guard pass when his opponent knee slices. First he feeds the far lapel to his hand between the legs, and grabs the pants at the inside of the knee. From here, he uses his arm to bump his opponent forward, and then switches the lapel grip to his other hand. A common reaction is for his opponent to whizzer, so Max reaches his free hand over the back to grab the belt, and sweeps by rolling to his back.
